Assembling wireless charging platform V2

Congratulations!

You've received the wireless fast charging platform for your Subaru Outback.

Before putting it to work, some assembly is required. Steps below describing the process.

The content of the package

  • Platform with electronics installed;
  • Two base legs/hooks: left and right;
  • Back wall/bracket;
  • Front panel;
  • Size adjustment bumpers;
  • 2 x 10 mm plastic rivets;
  • 3ft USB-C cable (not presented on the picture;)

Step 1:

Attaching base legs/hooks to the main platform

Align base legs and the main platworm as shown on the inage;

Step 1.1:

Attaching base legs/hooks to the main platform

Slide each leg/hook into position;

Step 2:

Install back wall/bracket

Slide back wall/bracket into position;

There are "rails" that will hold pieces in the position;

Step 2.1:

Install back wall/bracket

Once back wall is set to position, it will hold the base legs/hooks and the main platform together;

Step 3:

Prepare the Front panel

  • Pull the stem (yellow arrows) from each of included rivets;
  • Insert rivet shells (red arrows) into the holes on the front panel as shown on the image;

Step 4:

Install the Front panel

  • Flip the half assembled platform upside down;
  • Slide the Front panel into position;

Step 4.1:

Install the Front panel

  • Push preinstalled rivet bodies all the way in, so the Front panel will be reliably connected to the legs/hooks;
  • Insert rivet stem into the rivet shell and push all the way in, locking the rivets;

Step 5:

Install bumpers

  • Select and install bumpers to accommodate the size of your phone;

If satisfied with the adjusted size, you may use a drop of the Superglue to permanently attach bumpers to the platform.

Step 6:

DONE!

  • Connect included 3ft USB cable to the charger (from the left side);
  • Insert the entire assembly into the opening above the gloves compartment;
  • Route the USB cable toward your selected power source (the cigarette lighter socket with USB adapter is recommended). Wire can be pushed between dashboard panels and would be practically invisible;
  • Drop your phone in and charge it while you driving;
